STEMORIA scientific instrument
Draw an editable 2D connection table, render SMILES as a 2D diagram, or inspect XYZ/PDB/SDF/MOL2/CIF in 3D using pinned open-source engines inside a STEMORIA scientific workspace.

Spatial reasoning engine
Draw a connection table, render SMILES in 2D, or inspect supplied coordinates in WebGL while STEMORIA keeps representation, measurement, scientific interpretation and provenance as separate contracts.

Coordinate measurement
Select two atoms to measure their coordinate-space distance.
The value is computed from the coordinates supplied to the viewer. STEMORIA does not silently assign Å, nm, or another physical unit when the source contract does not guarantee one.
3Dmol.js renders the supplied XYZ text as a spatial representation. STEMORIA does not promote renderer-internal parsed metadata into authoritative scientific state.

XYZ carries atom symbols and Cartesian coordinates in this workflow. STEMORIA can separately validate and measure XYZ coordinates through the dedicated XYZ tool.
Selected-atom distances are calculated from the supplied coordinate numbers and reported as source coordinate units unless an authoritative source contract establishes a physical unit elsewhere.
This experience deliberately separates visual rendering and authoring from authoritative scientific parsing, validation, geometry generation and provenance.
