How can a solid keep dissolving and precipitating while the measured dissolved concentration stays constant?
Saturation is a dynamic equilibrium, not a state in which microscopic processes stop.

In a saturated system containing excess solid, particles can continue leaving the solid while dissolved species return to the solid. When these opposing processes balance, there is no net macroscopic change even though microscopic exchange continues.
